Lexiconio was founded in 2001 by Andrea and Peter, two translators who worked together on translations from Italian into English,. In its early days, Lexiconio focused exclusively on the Italian-English language pair, but as the number of requests for translations into other languages grew, Andrea and Peter began to build a network of translators covering a wide range of languages.
Over time, both the network of translators and the demand grew, so in 2012 they decided to set up a company providing translation services. Since then, they have not only had countless different projects pass under their hands and faced many interesting challenges, but they have also met many interesting people and built a company that provides a quality and professional service regardless of the client's status and size.
The business continues to grow rapidly and today the agency has a network of nearly 8,000 translators covering more than 150 language pairs. Although the main focus is now on managing the translation business, both Andrea and Peter still work in tandem on complete Italian to English translations.
